Renaming a file that already exists on the destination FTP server
-
I am evaluating Auto FTP Manager to be used in a very specific configuration. One of the tasks we need to implement is the retrieval of a file from an ftp server that is updated every day with the same name therefore overwriting the file from the previous day. We still need to keep track of the downloads by, for instance, adding the transfer date to the remote file name after the retrieval and before storing it in the local destination. I have seen that there is the option to move after transfer but I wonder whethere there is the option of renaming the file by, tel's say, prepending the current date or executing a user provided command.
Thanks for your support.

Under the conflict resolution, you can set Auto FTP Manager to automatically append the date and time when the file already exists.
